Mammut Nordwand Alpine Belay is an innovative and robust belay device. With V-shaped grooves and rear rope-bearing surfaces made of abrasion-resistant steel to prevent wear. The steel insert also prevents the belay device from overheating. The housing is made from lightweight aluminum, so that the total weight of the device amounts to just 80 grams. Suitable for double, half and single ropes ranging from 7.5 to 10.5 mm.
