The Salomon XA PRO V8 Winter Waterproof Junior in Black/Blue (also referred to as Black/Phantom/Quiet Shade) is a winter boot that provides grip, stability, and warmth for children’s outdoor adventures. It features a waterproof membrane and faux fur lining, making it ideal for cold and wet conditions.

- Winter Protection: Equipped with a ClimaSalomon™ Waterproof membrane and a cozy faux fur lining to provide warmth and dependable protection against snow, cold, and adverse weather conditions.
- Outsole/Grip: Features a durable Contagrip® MD outsole designed for long-term use and excellent traction on diverse surfaces, including hard, soft, loose, or snowy terrain.
- Fit & Support: The SensiFit™ construction wraps the foot from the midsole to the lacing system for a secure, snug, and virtually customized fit that adapts to the foot’s shape. The higher collar provides good ankle stability.
- Cushioning: A high-performance EnergyCell EVA foam midsole provides excellent shock absorption and comfortable cushioning.
- Lacing System: Uses a traditional lacing system with eyelets to adjust the fit. (Note: Some non-winter versions of the XA Pro V8 use Quicklace™).
- Protective Features: Includes a gusseted tongue to prevent debris from entering the shoe and a protective mudguard around the base of the foot.
